Family Pension- Haryana Silicosis Board

The Family Pension scheme is implemented by the Haryana Labour Welfare Board, Government of Haryana. Under this scheme, after the death of the worker due to Silicosis, financial assistance of ?3,500/- per month is provided to the spouse of the worker until he/she remains alive. In the case of an unmarried worker, the financial assistance is provided to his/her living parents.

Benefits

1. Under this scheme, financial assistance of ?3,500/- per month will be given after the death of the worker due to Silicosis.

1. If the deceased worker was married, assistance will be given to the widow or widower until he/she remains alive.

2. If the deceased worker was unmarried, financial assistance will be given to his/her living parents.

   Eligibility

   1. The applicant should be either the spouse or one of the living parents of the deceased worker.
   2. The deceased worker should have been suffering from silicosis as confirmed by the Silicosis Diagnosis Board, Haryana.
   3. The death of the worker should have been due to silicosis.
   4. The deceased worker should have been employed in a factory or at a construction site.

Application Process

Offline

Online - via CSCs

1. The applicant may visit the nearest Labour Office and collect the application form. The Application Performa (Annexure IV) may also be downloaded from the Official Website of the Labour Department Haryana.

2. Fill out the application form with all required details, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

3. Attach all necessary documents, including medical certificates, proof of identity, and the certificate of being the widow/widower or nominee, if applicable, etc.

4. Submit the completely filled application form along with supporting documents to the Assistant Director, Industrial Health of your concerned jurisdiction.

5. The Assistant Director will review the application and then forward it to the Office of the Labour Commissioner-cum-Welfare Commissioner, Haryana.

6. Await notification from the Labour Department regarding the approval or any further requirements for your application.

7. Upon approval, the financial assistance will be processed and provided to the applicant as per the schemes guidelines.

   1. Identity card of deceased worker
   2. Copy of Aadhaar Card of applicant
   3. Passport-size photograph of applicant
   4. Death Certificate of the worker
   5. Proof of relation with the deceased worker
   6. Copy of Bank Passbook
   7. Any other documents as required
